CNC PACKAGE 3 -AXIS CNC
Solitaire has developed one of the most user friendly controls dedicated to Centerless Grinding application. The controls are operated by SIEMENS controller with it’s respective hardware. It has a very user friendly Operator Interface Monitor with easy to work simple G Code software. The special designed Control pendant facilitates ease of operation. Provision of an extendable Hand wheel facilitates manual movement of slides. AC Digital Brushless Servo Motor is assembled with Alpha, Germany Precision Gear Box of 10:1 ratio for higher torque rating for CNC axis. Interpolation of the Dresser CNC axis to generate steps, Radii, Crown Tapers on the Grinding wheel.

1. Infeed Slide (X Axis): This Axis controls the Infeed slide movement for grinding cycle.
Three different feeds ( Rough, Semi-finish, Finish) are possible. The three feeds can be
individually programmed for their feed distance, feed rate, RW RPM. The Dwell time and
Spark out time can also be programmed.
2. Two Axis CNC Grinding Wheel Dresser (Y & Z Axis) - The grinder will be equipped with
2 axis CNC Grinding Wheel Dresser. Precision frictionless roller slides will be installed for
traverse axis (Y axis) and honed housing and precision ground quill assembly for accurate
advance of diamond (Z axis). This axis will be integrated with Servo Infeed assembly and
other CNC options. Dress compensation provided in case of integration with Servo infeed
attachment.
Features Of 3 Axis CNC:
• Slide graduation by 0.001mm.
• Auto Dressing – Can be programmed to start Automatic Dressing of Grinding wheel after certain number of components.
• Auto Compensation for the Infeed slide after dressing when in Auto Mode, thus enabling constant size.
• Linear Guideways between the Plate Swivel and the Lower slide. SMT uses the best Linear guideways from Schneeberger or Rosa, Italy and Ball Screw from PMI, Taiwan.
